Short Walks (4 - 5 hours) *

Short walks for those who want a leisurely start or an early finish - or just a walk that doesn't take all day!

Also available as evening walks in June or July - leaving in late afternoon, we'll still be back in the daylight as it's not dark until after 11pm.

  • Meall a Bhuachaille - an easy ridge leading up to a Corbett (the Scottish hills between 2500ft and 3000ft) overlooking the high Cairngorms.
  • Chalamain Gap - through a rocky ravine and into the impressive gash of the Lairig Ghru, then back through the pine forests of Rothiemurchus and Glenmore, and alongside Loch Morlich.
  • Cairngorm and the Northern Corries - this takes us onto the edge of the Cairngorm plateau, above the spectacular cliffs of Coire an Lochain and Coire an t-Sneachda, and the possibility of the Munro summit (the Scottish hills over 3000ft) of Cairngorm.

Cost: £60 per person, 10% discount for 3 or more. Transport from the Aviemore area is included.
